Avery Ranch Golf Club
Austin - TX

Around $65 Weekend A.M.
Walkability score - 4 - Moderate Hills
Exceptional course for the money. Great design, practice facility, & clubhouse. Amazing greens and well kept grass/ bunkers.

Avery is located slightly northwest of Austin and it was a pretty damn good course. They had a magnificent practice facility, clubhouse, and the conditions were the best of the courses we played.

Greensfee was $60 with cart so it’s a very good deal. Just make sure and book your correct number of players because we had to pay for a raincheck since our 4th couldn’t make it 😂

We got paired up with a single who had played the course before and was a great resource for some of the trickier holes.

The course has plenty of fairway undulation and bunkers in play. Condition was great especially after the rain we had before our round. Greens were really nice and bunkers played fine despite being wet.

The layout and design was unique with a good mixture of options off the tee and in the fairway requiring some thought throughout the round.

Five par 3’s and five par 5’s were different from the courses we normally play but we still loved it all in all. The wildlife is pretty awesome here too with deer grazing on almost every hole.

After paying over $125 for a round earlier in the weekend with less quality conditions than Avery we really enjoyed this course and thought the $60 price point was a value to say the least.

We would recommend you check this place out. Definitely worth every penny. Food was awesome too 😋
